The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

If you don't like at least parts of Christmas, I probably don't like you.. and I'm Jewish. There's something so special to me about holidays with a set menu, a lot of family in a small amount of time, and I'd be lying if I said the presents didn't make this holiday.
This being my first Christmas in college my list looks a little different than my previous lists. Last year while working all year I was able to buy myself a lot of the basics so for the holidays I asked for things that were a little more fun. But this year I'm poor and broke and have no money and every other synonym for tapped out. Although I can't ask for super fancy things, (if my plan works out I'll be getting a Birkin bag ten Christmas' from now) everything on my list is so fabulous I really just need ti all. 
Here you go whores, try to resist stealing it all. 

This Stone_Cold_Fox robe in whisper green is probably my number one. It also might be in my best interest to not get this robe because I don't think I'll ever take it off.. I'll walk to class in it, I'll go to the dining hall in it, I'll where it to the bar where some cheap Athens beer will ruin the silk and the lace will get caught on a bar stool.. But please santa, please!!! 

I think it's that time in my life that I get my first piece by Louis Vuitton. Obviously this man is a legend, but to be honest, I don't want an LV purse. I mean obviously I'd trade in my boyfriend for a Never Full bag.. but lets be honest here, that is not happening for me this Christmas. I think I need this to attach to my dorm keys so I never loose them again because I couldn't possibly loose something this pretty.. 

Every list I created for each person had a Sephora gift card on it. Any amount of money could help considering I don't even think $1,000,000 could buy me all the shit I want from that store right now. My next purchases will be the Y'ves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat concealer, the Fresh rose bud exfoliator, the Naked Palette 3, and every color of the Fresh lip tint  <- my absolute go to for everything, I insist everyone have at least one. 

Don't get me wrong, I love Chanel, Dior, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, and just about every other designer brand of sunglasses, but  I can never get enough of Ray-Bans. They do no wrong. These aviators are so fun because they are literally colorful mirrors. No one will be able to see the dirty looks I'm giving in these and what could be better than that! These come in green, blue, and pink/orange, but green is my color of choice. 

These Free People earrings better be wrapped up for me this Christmas. I put these on my boyfriends list, because they're a nice $48 pair of earrings that to me are so much better then a pair of fair diamonds. These are so boho beautiful and unique and cool. I'm just praying if I'm lucky enough to get these I don't loose them like EVERY other pair of earrings I have ever owned. Seriously.... I do not have one pair of earrings anymore. 

I feel like the Rebecca Minkoff five-zip cross body is becoming a staple in the teenage girls life. No offense to Marc Jacobs because he is amazing, but if I have to see one of those plain cross over bags one more time I might throw up. I love how this bag is a little more edgy and chic and comes in so many pretty colors. 

Some other things on my list include Bobbi Brown "Beach" perfume, a new pair of Lulu's, (cause 15 pairs isn't enough) Ugg Slippers, White Converse, and new rings!

Holiday Clothing

It's finally happened.. 
The Christmas party invitations. 
On a college campus our Christmas parties consist of thrifted ugly holiday sweaters and red solo cups filled with flat beer from a keg. Don't get me wrong those are some of the best nights.. but at home these festive parties are a little bit different. I have a closet full of clothes, and can usually find something to wear for every occasion (even though I usually tend to buy new clothes, but who doesn't). 
Today something different happened though. Sunday I'm going to a party at one of the bartenders house from the restaurant I work at. The Facebook invitation says dress up.. meaning heels, dresses, the whole damn thing. But as I searched my closet, not wanting to spend money on an outfit I'll probably wear one or two times, I realized I have nothing holiday-esque.

This dress comes in black or white.. I like the white with a nice glowing tan but both are beautiful constructed, interesting dresses! 

There are so many more things I love, but chances are I'm going to have to buy everything I post and this is about all I can afford right now... 

Bedroom Inspo

Since going to college I've gotten this crazy obsession with Pinterest. (If I've learned one thing in all my college lectures it's that bitches love Pinterest.. so of course I'm going to get into it) Because of this fabulous website, I've also discovered my love for home decor. I would kill for a house and endless money to decorate it with, but for now all I can do is change up my small blue room at my house. I love white. Everything in my room could be white and I would be happy as a clam sitting on my white duvet reading Cosmopolitan in a silk robe. However, to make me even happier in that situation I'd like some.. lets say chocolate covered strawberries on my bed side table. And because of that, I guess I can't have all white. I still haven't decided quite what I'm going to do yet, but my Pinterest, (look me up.. www.pinterest.com/tylerunger) is filled with hundreds of decoration possibilities. Four days until I get to go home and start! 

Olsen Fever

Every time I see these girls I turn green with envy. Literally. As if they weren't cool enough already after being the absolute cutest girls on TV since the time they were born, they then grew up and created their own fashion empire. With three labels, and a new perfume line, these twins are really doing it all. They take first place in my list of style icons. I would wear (almost) everything they own! I think something that draws me to the Olsen twins is their petite frames drowned in oversized fur coats, scarfs and bags and sunglasses bigger than them. They clean up amazingly for red carpet events, but know how to keep it casual cool on the streets. In a recent interview I read, the Olsen's discussed how they wanted to hire someone to represent their brand, so it would succeed based on the clothes, not the designers. Like seriously?? How are they so perfect and modest!!  They also are very into black, which if you haven't noticed is my favorite :).

TOP 10 (December 2013)

Although it was nearly impossible to limit it down to just ten, these are ten items everyone NEEDS!! Whether you're trying to sex it up at a holiday party, add a staple piece to your ever important work collection, or something just for you, I have a hard time believing anything on this list wont make your jaw drop.

Balenciaga - Classic Day Balenciaga

Although black is my color of choice, this bag in any color is absolutely to die for!! This lambskin shoulder bag is an instant classic to any wardrobe, and looks fabulous with anything from jeans and a tee to a LBD. Be sure to check out more Balenciaga bags, theres at least one for everybody!

This extremely original and unique piece by my favorite brand is ridiculous! The contrast of black and ivory is unlike anything I've ever seen before in the form of a blazer. The oversized look to this jacket would look great with any little dress, the matching SCF shorts, or even a bikini if your feeling a little risky ;)

Right now I'm obsessed with the look of leather leggings. The great thing about them is they can be so easily dressed up or dressed down, and there's such a variety of designers who make them at every price! Primary is a brand who focuses on individuality and simplicity. I chose these leather leggings because of the way the leather is used in only certain spots. Although these leggings are a little pricey I promise you can find cheaper versions almost anywhere!

Jeffrey Campbell - Solitaire Platform Pump-Snake

I mean come on!! How could you not adore these. Jeffrey Campbell has made some of my most favorite shoes in my closet and these are just another necessity. The pointed toe, platform, and mix of black and printed snake skin, these are absolutely a must have for all your holiday parties, and for everything else!

Every girl has to have some type of sequins in their closet this holiday season, and I hope you are all wearing something sparkly on New Years! This Free People jacket is truly something special. With its beautiful quality and the unexpected yet perfect lace at the bottom, this jacket is sure to turn heads. Wear it closed or open, over a dress or jeans, and you will not be disappointed.

For Love & Lemons did something wonderful for this world when they created their new skivvies collection. Each piece is so sexy and mysterious and beyond words. This piece is my favorite because it's dark and twisted meets chic feminine. Kylie Jenner has also been seen wearing this piece under a crop top so just the bottom lace comes out. Very creative girlfriend!

rag & bone/JEAN - The Skinny in Surrey with Holes

I just got these in the mail today and I can already tell they are going to be a staple piece in my wardrobe. They are flattering, hip, and have the perfect amount of damage done to them. If grey jeans aren't your thing check these out in blue or black too. They're all equal awesome.

Urban Decay - Naked Palette

M.A.C Satin Lipstick - Rebel 

Okay, so Urban Decay's Naked palette, you've heard it before and I'm sure you'll hear it again, but it really is a must have. Like even if you're not into make-up have this as your one thing. I'm a sucker for the original palette, but the Naked 2 is just as fab, and come later this month there will be a Naked 3 to droll over. (I hear the shades are more purple in this one <3). I put the MAC lipstick in the same post because I couldn't choose just one piece to share this month. I've always had problems wearing red lipstick but I love dark lips for going out at night. This Rebel purple color was a totally random and risky buy but I could not love it any more. It's mysterious and sexy, and steps away from the typical red. Please try and you wont regret it!

Lauren Manoogian - Charcoal Capote Coat

Whether you're a jeans type of girl, leggings, or tights and dresses, adding this on top of an outfit will never be wrong. I'm obsessed with adding chunky pieces over tight ones, creating contrast. I could find an outfit to wear with this every day! Add a bright scarf for a cold winter day in the city or throw over a bodycon when the beach gets a little breezy. Just please, for your sake, buy this!

This dress from Urban Outfitters is such a steal! Who knows if I'll even like this trend next season, but right now it's constantly on my mind. Recently I've developed an obsession with tights.. or more so Jenny Humphrey Gossip Girl season 3, but anyways this is the perfect dress to pair with a crazy (or plain) pair of tights and some cool booties/boots/heels, basically anything!

Hello to your new favorite blog

Spending days upon days searching millions of websites, blogs, and interviews, my style has changed, but my extreme passion for anything fashion has not. It was a little over a year ago I found Stone_Cold_Fox. A beautiful brand inspired by vintage styles, lace, and silks, created by two young hotties living the dream in Venice Beach, CA. My interest in the brand quickly became obsession. Between stalking their instagram, memorizing each piece, and reading multiple interviews, I knew this brand was something special to me. I have loved/love many other brands (ranging from Alexander Wang to Free People to Rag & Bone Jeans), SCF inspired me. Now attending college as a fashion major with a marketing minor, I spend much of my time dreaming up my future with my own clothing brand. This blog is a place for me to post my designs, thoughts and things I believe every fashionista MUST know! Happy blogging :)
